Simple Present Tense Structure The simple present tense is used to express habitual actions, general truths, facts, instructions, or events that occur regularly. Structure for Positive Sentences Subject + Base Verb / Verb with 's/es' (for singular subjects) + Object Example : She writes a letter. Structure for Negative Sentences Subject + Do/Does + Not + Base Verb + Object Example : She does not write a letter. Structure for Interrogative Sentences Do/Does + Subject + Base Verb + Object ? Example : Does she write a letter ? Positive Sentences I read books. मी पुस्तके वाचतो. She goes to school. ती शाळेत जाते. They play football every day. ते दररोज फुटबॉल खेळतात.
