which came first the egg or the hen ?

The classic "chicken or egg" question is often seen as a paradox, but science offers insights that suggest the egg came first.

1.Evolutionary Perspective:

Long before chickens existed, other animals, like reptiles and early birds, laid eggs. Over time, genetic mutations accumulated, eventually resulting in the species we now call the chicken.

So, technically, the first "chicken egg" would have been laid by a bird that was almost, but not exactly, a chicken. That egg then hatched into what we would consider the first true chicken.

2.Genetic Mutation:

New species often arise through gradual genetic mutations. The first true chicken likely developed from a genetic mutation in the embryo within an egg laid by a bird that was not quite a chicken, making the egg come first.

So, from an evolutionary standpoint, the egg came before the chicken.
